This page includes all the latest updates on highway developments and works linked to Plasdŵr .
On Monday July 16th a section of the Heol Isaf footpath, from the roundabout to the thatched cottage on the left hand side of the road, was be closed to allow for drainage works. The works were completed ahead of time and the footpath has now re-opened, we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Future highway works surrounding Parc Plymouth will include:
• Signalising the junction of Heol Isaf and Llantrisant Road, and widening Llantrisant Road between Clos Parc Radur and Heol Aradur to accommodate a dedicated bus lane, with works expected to start in early 2018.
• The junction of Clos Parc Radur with Llantrisant Road will also become signalised, with traffic lights replacing the roundabout. This is currently expected to be delivered in around 2020/2021.

Cae St Fagans
Redrow Homes has begun the highway works for Cae St Fagans, where the site meets Pentrebane Road. These will eventually include widening part of the road to create an entrance, introducing cycle paths, pavements, a bus turning circle and new bus stops.
A small temporary road diversion is currently in place at the entrance to Cae St Fagans where Pentrebane Road becomes a lane, to allow construction of a new road and access to the sales office from the St Fagans direction only. This will continue until August, when a complete road closure will be required for up to three weeks. Exact dates to be confirmed.
These works will include widening and lowering of the road and street light installation. The road surface will then be renewed and a footpath will be created.
